OTHER REGISTRATION INFORMATION

COVID-19 Safety Protocols

In an effort to support knowledge exchange and maintain the strong sense of community that has been built for decades at the ISSC Congress, the ISSC Standing Committee has made the decision to move forward with an in-person event in 2022. This decision also rests on the fact that the ISSC members understand the importance of both effective vaccines and stringent public health approaches.

Every effort will be taken to make the event a safe and healthy experience. ISSC 2022 is requiring participants to be fully vaccinated in order to participate at ISSC 2022. According to the Government of Canada, to be considered fully vaccinated you must have received at least 2 doses of a COVID-19 vaccine accepted for travel (listed here) in Canada, or a mix of 2 accepted vaccines, or at least 1 dose of the Janssen/Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

Currently, wearing masks in public indoor settings is no longer required by public health in BC, Canada. Wearing a mask is a personal choice. Masks are encouraged on public transit but not required

Health guidelines and mandates are subject to change, please continuously monitor these restrictions that can be found here.

For current COVID-19 entry requirements to Canada, please visit the Government of Canada website. COVID-19 regulations are expected to change over time, so please ensure you check the requirements before making travel arrangements, and especially in the weeks before travelling to ISSC 2022, to ensure you are aware of and adhere to all health and safety regulations.
